Today started a little better, and yet, worse. Dennis woke up feeling awful with a sinus infection. He was actually awake and coughing at 4:30am. Ugh! But Faith was awake and fussing a bit to eat, so when he got in the shower, I decided to go ahead and feed her. At 5:30am, I prepared breakfast and lunch for Dennis and he left at about 6:15am. A few moments to myself, I decided to check emails. At 7:15am, I woke up Charis and jumped in the shower while she readied for school. When I went to the boys' room, Andrew was trying to talk, but he sounded more like a bullfrog. No kidding!
Well, we tried to start at 8:00am with violin lessons while I fixed breakfast for the kids. The phone rang, and when I answered, I ended up having to call Dennis. 15 minutes later we started again. Violin lessons done and breakfast finished by 9:00am, we started on the school work. Again, mostly review, although now Charis got to practice writing a bit of cursive. I didn't realize they were started this early; I didn't learn cursive until about 3rd grade. All in all it went well, with only a few interruptions from Matthew wanting to sit next to Charis and help her color. Andrew was fussy, but not quite as demanding as yesterday.
We finished school for the day at about 11:45am and broke for lunch. Now, they are all taking naps and I get some more "me" time before I have to feed Faith and start working on supper plans. I think we will have leftovers. I have some hamburgers, fried rice, spaghetti and ribeye steaks to make a good buffet. =)

The picture of all four of your children is so sweet! I have a similar one of my 5 in the hospital, but it's a bit wild looking! :)
And, it sounds like you've got a great schedule for homeschooling! Way to go!
Hello Ms. Tabatha, I didn't know that so many collegewives had started this blogging thing. How fun! I enjoyed reading about your first two days of homeschooling. Please keep the posts coming. I'll most likely be homeschooling Tori in 2 years, and I'd appreciate any info I can glean from you! =)
